Digestion and Circulation

Ginger makes a soothing and warming herbal tea which is great for upset tummies, colic, wind, nausea, morning sickness, bloating and cramping of the digestive tract. Ginger be used to help improve circulation and this combined with its strong anti-inflammatory action makes it ideal for conditions such as arthritis, poor circulation and period pain. Ginger is called a 'helper herb', meaning that when ginger is included in a herbal formula or herbal tea mix the other herbs have more effect. This is a good reason to include ginger with your other favourite tea mixes or to get creative and make some of your own blends!

Use 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of herb per cup of boiling water. Place in a infuser, teapot or strainer & infuse for 3 - 10 minutes, depending on taste.
