Kirikiriroa is the Maori name for Hamilton.  We are proud to bring you this honey from three Hamilton City Council iconic parks - The Hamilton Gardens, Hamilton Zoo, and the Taitua Arboretum.  Try the taste of Hamilton!

Some of the honey from these apiary sites goes back to Council to be sold at Hamilton Gardens and some go to the zoo. Honey is a special treat available to some of the zoo animals and the zookeepers are very enthusiastic about using the Kirikiriroa honey.

Sweetree Kirikiriroa honey has received finalist in the 2017 'Outstanding Food Producer Awards' and won Bronze in the 2019 ApiCulture honey competition, and Silver in 2015 in the 'Beekeepers Special Reserve' honey competition with the National Beekeepers Association Honey Show.
